Swiss Inn

Terrific service, good food, good atmosphere.
Great for the group who've moved on from the noisy pubs.

I have been to the Swiss Inn on numerous occasions for lunch and dinner . The atmosphere is bright and spacious and the service friendly and efficient. The food is always excellent and the daily specials keep the taste buds guessing.
I recommend the Barramundi, the Kangaroo and the Pate is fantastic.
If you go, make sure to lean in and give compliments to the chef, he does a superb job!
Always eager to please the staff with accomodate any special needs and you won't be kicked out when the kitchen staff or waitress want to go home, which you find in some Cairns restaurants.

I have been to Swiss Inn several times during May 2004. The location, the interieur, the staff and - of course - the delicious Swiss food were awesome.
Try the "Trois Fillets" or the typical Swiss speciality "Cordon Bleu". Superb meats, deliciously cooked/baked and served with fresh veggies, salads, rice or - if you need it, man - chips! And to finish a nice dinner, have some "Kirsch" at the Aelplibar. So cool!
A nice place to be and enjoy a real good dinner in a typical and relaxed Swiss surrounding. I will be back there anyway. Promised!
