Ask questions prior to placing your order They are Not vegan one of the advertised products contained eggs. it was listedt on the web as a vegan friendlly restaurant and I was surprised at their limited selection. However, they had two desserts that were listed as dairy and gluten free but when I questioned them about what was in the desserts, I was told that one of them contained eggs. We I said then it is not dairy free, the sign was not removed! and they said "...eggs are not dairy..."

There are really few choicea for vegans, other than salad, which makes the place anything but special for vegans (since any eatery has salad).
It also doesn't assure anywhere which ingredients are organic (maybe none of them are!), so if they are not, then the food is really over-priced for the quality of it's cuisine.

Over-all, quite disappointed, unfortunately.

Talk about being comfortable and enjoying your meal in a friendly environment. I enjoyed the gluten free meal and the natural fruit juices. I am definately recommending those Miners in PNG to visit FUSIONs without a doubt. EXCELENT service EXCELLENT food and EXCELENCE in organics.

Such a relief to find consistently excellent food that reflects the contemporary need for flavour, texture and variety. All that plus exceptionally healthy, moderate servings.
The coffee and cake are far better than, for example, THe Gelato Bar at Bondi Beach (which has been a gourmand haunt in Sydney for 35 years).
Most of all, Robert Penny and staff are calm and smile.
Surprising value for money.

My sister and I discovered Fusion Organics (unfortunately) only two days before our holiday to Cairns ended and our return to Melbourne. As we have special dietary requirements, Fusion Organics met our every need, i.e. gluten free, vegetarian, wheat intollerant plus a few others. In fact this is by far our favourite restaurant in Cairns. We wish the owners would open a similar restaurant in Melbourne!! We had a coffee and cake experience which was delicious, came back for a mouth watering lunch of frittata (I'd love the recipe - any hope please?) plus we took two pieces away with us to have for lunch on a tour we had booked for the following day. Also took away a couple of superb gluten free slices. The concept of Fusion Organics is brilliant and suits my sister and I to a tee. I even search Melbourne and all its hundreds of restaurants to beat this one. Congratulations on a stunning, very reasonably priced fabulous restaurant. If we had discovered you two weeks before when we arrived, we would no doubt have had every meal at Fusion.
