Dined here twice during stay in Cairns. Both times service and meals were great. Take advantage of the dinner earlybird discounts and chef specialties

I found this restaurant from this web site, and went there with the expectations set from past reviewers. We were shockingly disappointed!

It was a Friday night, maybe 80% full, and the service was very slow. When we got eventually our meals they were both over-cooked, not exactly what I had in mind for my $35 moreton bay bugs.

When we left and saw the $90 bill for 2 mains, bread, and a few drinks, I had to check the bill a few times, I had trouble comprehending how I could be charged that much for such crap.

I definitely felt I was slugged a tourist tax for dining at a restaurant on The Esplanade.

Went for lunch last year. The Morton Bay bug was one of the best meals of my life. Fantastic.

I would love to thank all tha employee at casa de meze and chef's for there great food and service thy provided for us as we had a birthday party of 20 people on the night. Look forward to dine at casa in tha futuer.
