Great Thai food, Clean, Family enviroment. Golden chicken wing are yummy!!!!! We love it here. Reasonable price. Always welcoming with smile. Its our favorite dinning place for our eat out night. Always walk out with a full tummy and big smile on our face that we always make the right choice to come here

Khim Khao is average thai food. Certainly not the quality that you find in larger cities or Thailand of course. We have eaten here on occasion (with a lunch 2 for 1 special) and that really is the only way we would eat here. We have found the serving sizes to be small and the food not overly authentic. We loved the decor, so maybe that led us to believe it would be better than it was. Personally, the little Thai place on Lake st is WAY better.

We love it here, even our 16 year old son picked for his birthday... Great food, great prices. It a family favorite for us for a couple of years now...

My friend came to visit me from the Sunshine Coast and we went to Khin Khao. We had the Chillie Fish and shared a couple of other dishes. It was absolutely divine.
I went to take her out the next night for dinner again and she would only come if we could go back to Khin khao and have the Chillie Fish again.
My partner and I visit at least once a week either for a dine in or take away.
If we want a good fresh well priced meal that's where we go.

It's THE BEST restaurant in Cairns!!! We had our wedding there and it was really The Perfect Day. The food is absolutly delicious and.......actually good idea we are going back tonight!!!

Excellent little restaurant - beautiful fresh food, flavoursome and healthy and at surprisingly healthy prices. Lunch specials are truly cheap, nutritious, tasty and adequate. Funky atmosphere and wonderful management and staff who really care about their patch. Well done Khin Khao. A hidden gem but as a recently arrived local, I must say the most consistent, clean and groovy space - which is why I frequent! Thumbs up to you!

fantastic food, great prices, very friendly staff, Sarah and husband are a great team. Eager to please nothing is to much trouble. Its not easy to eat out with 3 children or find somewhere that they like, but my children love going to Khin Khao. My 14year old boy requested to eat here for his birthday dinner.

I would recommend going for the lunch time specials, there is a good variety and the prices are very cheap and the portions are more than ample. We have a lot of work funcions there and the staff are very friendly and knowledgable.
